Infantaria

Souza Lobo

This is the place where you get the authentic Goan food. It is a shack located on the busiest beach in North Goa. The King Fish curry and rice will leave you begging for more. Calangute beach has quite a lot of shacks but Souza Lobo definitely stands out.

Martin’s Corner

If you are staying in South Goa. You HAVE to visit Martin’s Corner! Even if you are NOT, you shouldn’t miss this place! Live crabs to lobsters! You can also customize your spices and flavours. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Goa. There are murals spread across the restaurant. Apart from the sea-food and authentic Goan dishes, Martin’s corner serves good chicken.

Zanzibar

This shack on Baga is very well known for some amazing Tandoori delicacies. Zanzibar is a place where you can relax throughout the day sipping your drink with yummy finger food.

Thalassa

Looking forward to a fancy lunch? Thalassa is the place! Located on Vagator beach, this place is known for stunning sunset view with some Greek munching. They have a massive coal fire where in they cook pork-chops, lamb, lobsters, prawns… You name it and they have it! Try their crunchy salads and end your meal with ice-creams and desserts. Don’t forget to reserve a table for yourself before you visit Thalassa!

Upper House

Another must try restaurant in Goa! Located in Panjim, this place boasts of the old world charm with modern fine dine. You’ll find some authentic Goan and Portuguese dishes here. It is famous for its Beef specialties.

Hotel Venite

This is one of the hidden places in Goa which serves amazing authentic Goan food. It has a rustic Goan Portuguese look. The Red Snapper here is to die for. Don’t forget to try the Pork Vindaloo and Chicken Xacuti here!

Tuscany Gardens

Want to get the feel of the home-cooked Goan food ? Go visit Bhatti Village! This is not amongst those typical restaurants that tourists would visit. Try their lip-smacking Rawa-friend prawns and prawns curry with rice. Thank us later!

 

Fisherman’s Wharf

Located opposite to the holiday Inn, you can enjoy a spectacular view from this restaurant. Stuffed crabs is a must try dish here!
